COLD ONES

The months between the first autumn rains and the rays of spring sunshine are torture for any skater. 4:30 p.m. and it's dark and wet outside. Only very few dry days for months.

Jackets, backpacks, and small groups young people are scattered everywhere under the signature large round lamps. A pedestrian underpass, near the exhibition center in Berlin, is one of the few places where skaters can pursue their passion, no matter how hard the German winter hits the streets. The International Congress Centrum Berlin, ICC for short. The big round lights are always lit, the floor is smooth and as long as the humidity is not too high, the place never gets wet and so this place is the last port of call for us and the Berlin skate scene in winter.
